In 1949 Jenny Moore, her husband Father Paul Moore, Father Kim Myers and Bob Pegram started their work at Grace Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. This quartet envisioned the Episcopal Church as an agent of social change, protesting inner city housing conditions and racial discrimination.
